Iron Supplement

Although most of us now the importance of having a healthy diet, not all of us are able to meet the daily nutritional requirements that our body needs. There are a number of reasons why this happens. It could be because of poor food choices, lack of appetite, changing nutritional needs or having a strict diet. Whatever the reason may be, if the body does not meet its daily nutritional needs, it is most likely to increase the risk of acquiring a number of illnesses. My mama always tell me to take vitamins especially the iron supplement because I am anemic before. But now I am better. I just had to eat fruits and vegetables which are always better, I think haha

I believe that we should take supplements because the food that we take are lacking of the important nutrients that we need.

Iron is so important for brain development especially for kids. i worry sometimes that my kiddo is not getting the required amount of iron in his body because he is so picky and is not taking any iron supplement. but i try very hard though to get him to eat red meats. so i think he should be good.

Vitamin supplements are good especially when advised by a doctor but it cannot substitute for good health practices.

Taking supplement is a great help for us Mommies. I am not fond of taking supplements though.

iron is indeed a good supplement to our body especially when we're not getting it naturally from the food we eat. I used to take iron especially when i feel dizzy but not anymore because i get lazy taking these stuff.

I used to take some type of iron vitamins when I came home from the hospital from having a dengue fever. Oh dear talking about irony taste medicine. It is good for the bones and we definitely need to take better care of our health.

Your post reminds me to take vitamins again. The last time I took supplements was when I was pregnant with my daughter almost 4 years ago.

My parents are very health conscious people and they have taken supplements for years. When i came here to US i forgot about those until i realized i need them again. :) They important for our body prevention is better than cure they said.
