Renew Crew of Little Rock

Your home is a huge investment. Therefore, you should do your best to keep it looking beautiful. This is especially true if you will be selling your home in the near future. There is never a more important time for you to make your home look great than when potential buyers will be coming by every day to see it. The better your house looks, the more offers you will get for it. The exterior appearance of your home is extremely important. This will determine a potential buyer's first impression of your home. Here are a few of the ways to improve the curb appeal of your home.

 1. Hire a professional landscaper

You may have never needed to hire a landscaper before because you cut the lawn and trimmed the bushes. However, it is worth the money to hire a landscaper when you are trying to sell your home. You need your lawn, trees and bushes to look flawless. All of the tree branches need to be trimmed back so they are not touching the sides of your house. These branches may be too high for you to reach. A landscaper will have the necessary tools to do this. If your lawn is brown because it has not been getting enough water, a landscaper can water it and lay down fertilizer so it will grow properly. Do not show your home to potential buyers until your yard looks immaculate.

2. Pressure wash your house

Pressure washing has become a very popular way for people to clean the exteriors of homes and buildings. People also use pressure washing as a way to clean their decks. It is a very effective method to remove dirt, bird feces and other forms of debris that get splattered on outdoor surfaces. A thorough pressure washing will give your home a sparkle and shine that will be very attractive to any potential buyers who stop by for a viewing. Renew Crew of Little Rock offers pressure washing services at a competitive price. Visit littlerock.renewcrewclean.com to learn more.

3. Have siding installed

If you have a house that has faded and peeling paint on it, this is sure to turn off many people who come to take a look at it. Therefore, you might want to consider having aluminum or vinyl siding installed. This will drastically improve the appearance of your home. It will also eliminate your peeling paint problem.

DD2's First Day of School

As I mentioned in my previous post, our DD2 started her kindergarten on September 14. She was very happy and said she was shy meeting new friends but all in all her day went by awesomely. I wasn't able to go with them to school that day coz I went back to work so hubby was the one dropping them off.

I made a sign for her first day of school and had her posed with it before I went to work. When I got home she told me she got a lot of compliments about her sign. I did not know that my husband brought her to school and had her posed outside the school building holding the sign. She added that she was happy I made the sign.

5 Amazing Ideas for Renovating Your Kitchen

Renovations to a kitchen can give you the capacity to be creative. It can go beyond simply choosing new colors and materials for counter tops or selecting the right pattern for the flooring. Depending on your budget and imagination, there is so much more you can do to the kitchen.

Built-in Island/Table

If you have a large enough floor space, you can incorporate a dining table into an island in the center of the kitchen. This may be perfect for small families that don't have the room to set up a full-sized dining table while giving you a surface to prepare food. Using chairs that match the aesthetics of the room may give it even more appeal.

Skylights

A skylight can be an incredible addition to the kitchen. It offers natural light while promoting a view of the sky. Many homeowners add skylights to help enhance the overall feel of a room as it may seem more lively. If you use bright colors in the kitchen, these windows can make the room look a great deal luminous than it was before.

Natural Stone Work

Adding natural stone can emulate an outdoor setting while making the kitchen look unique. Stone counter tops, walls and floors also deliver an incredibly long lifespan. When it comes to surfaces that can withstand decades of foot-traffic and use, very few materials can surpass natural stone. The only drawback to this kind of renovation is the weight of the materials.

Built-in Shelving

Shelves that are built directly into the walls can make the room seem more open than with cupboards lining the entire length of the kitchen. While you may want cabinets for some items, you can really open a room up if you can build as much into the wall as possible.

Miniature Waterfall

A miniature waterfall built directly into the walls themselves offers a unique appearance that may impress guests. It doesn't take much to create one of these permanent fixtures, and they can provide the same relaxation as rock fountains that you can buy at many stores. The only real difference is that a permanent fixture can promote a unique sense of style for the kitchen.

If you need inspiration, you can learn more about what you can have done to virtually any room in the house. It's all about creating a look and feel that is perfect for you and the family. As long as you're comfortable with the outcome, there is really no right or wrong way to design the kitchen of our dreams.
